SURGICAL MASK - ASTM LEVEL 3
Our surgical masks cover the users' nose and mouth and provide a physical barrier to fluids and particles. They meet ASTM Level 3 fluid barrier protection standards and Class I flammability tests. They are also tested for biocompatibility and are considered medical-grade personal protective equipment (PPE). While a surgical mask may be effective in blocking splashes and large-particle droplets, it may not provide complete protection from germs and other contaminants because of the loose fit between the surface of the mask and your face.
There are 3 classifications under ASTM International standards: Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. Moderate and high protection masks must have bacterial filtration rates greater than 98%. You can find below the test requirements related to Level 3 SURGICAL MASKS.
